Beginner 101 July 8th 10am-12pm
Students will paint, wet distress and glaze a 5x7 picture frame AND paint, dry brush and decorate a mason jar. There is a choice of frames.

*Sandpaper (we will also discuss different grit types)
*Krud Kutter Gloss Off
Students will start off properly cleaning their picture frames and move onto painting them. While the frames are drying, the instructor(s) will review your handouts to include "What is Latex Paint" and "Information and Product Tips".
Students will then seal and paint mason jars.
Instructor will then discuss glaze and what exactly it is.
We will then move onto wet distressing our picture frames and glazing them. Instructor will explain how to blend different glaze colors as well as how to achieve a "smoky" look.
Instructor will then demo how to dry brush a second paint or metallic paint color and students will follow along in this process. After jars are painted and dried, students will select from a variety of ribbon, twine, hemp, etc to decorate your finished jars.
